The problem
Bitcoin holders don’t want to sell.Merchants don’t want a wallet.
Crypto checkouts usually fail one side. Customers have to swap before they can pay, or merchants end up holding a volatile asset, a seed phrase and a supply of gas tokens. Mezout fixes both sides in a single transaction.

160% borrow floor
A borrow that would leave the customer’s loan under 160% collateral is refused on-chain, so checkout can’t push anyone toward liquidation.
One invoice, one payment
Every signature names a single invoice, and each invoice can be paid once. A copied signature can’t pay anything else.
Non-custodial
Money moves from the customer to your payout address directly. Mezout never holds funds or keys.
Paid means on-chain
Orders are marked paid only from the router’s Paid events, never from what a browser reports.
No admin keys
No upgrades, no pause switch, no owner. The contract source is verified on Sourcify as an exact match.

What can my customers pay with?
MUSD, BTC or MEZO, or MUSD borrowed against the BTC in their Mezo loan. The checkout only shows the options their wallet can actually use, and you receive MUSD whichever they choose.
Do I need a crypto wallet to get paid?
No. Create an account with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone) and Mezout gives you your own smart account, with gasless withdrawals. If you already use Mezo, you can be paid straight into your wallet instead.
Does Mezout ever hold my money?
No. Each payment goes from the customer to your payout address in a single transaction. Mezout signs invoices and pays gas, but it has no way to move your funds.
How do I know an order has been paid?
Mezout reads the router’s Paid events on Mezo and marks the invoice paid only from those. Your dashboard updates, and your server gets a signed invoice.paid webhook.
What does it cost?
Nothing on testnet. Each invoice carries a signed fee field, so any future fee is shown up front and deducted from the payout. The customer always pays the price on the invoice.
Can I use it with my store?
Yes. Install the WooCommerce plugin, or create invoices from any backend with the REST API and send customers to the checkout link. Shopify and an embeddable checkout are next.
Is Mezout live on mainnet?
Not yet. Mezout runs on Mezo testnet with test tokens that have no value. Mainnet follows a security review and passkey account recovery.
